What Together Kids Looks Like
Your kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place for them to learn about Jesus at their level. Every Sunday, all children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Kids church is just like normal church, but for kids! Every week we pray, give, praise and worship, listen to a message and study the bible, as well as many fun games, art and crafts and free play time.
Our Programs
We are so excited to partner with you as a church family to facilitate a safe, loving environment in which your child can be inspired to live for Jesus and grow into all that God has planned for them. To help you enjoy your Sunday with us, we provide many options for children at every age (see below). These vary from special rooms for parents with children to fully supervised drop off programs.
Our Parents Room is available for parents and children aged 0 – 1 years. Located in the Inspire Early Learning Centre (follow the signs) this is a parent supervised room. This is a space catered for little ones to play, with feeding and changing facilities, and you are connected to the service via live-stream.
Our Toddler Room is available for parents and children aged 1 – 3 years. Located in the Inspire Early Learning Centre (follow the signs), this is a parent supervised room. This is a room where your toddler can play whilst you are connected to the service via live-stream.
Our Mini Program is available for children aged 4-6 years. This is a fully supervised drop off program, with check in 15 minutes before each service, located in Auditorium 2, with the program delivered in Minis Room. This is an interactive program to began preschoolers bible journey through stories, music and crafts.
Our Primary Program is available for children aged 7 – 12 years. This is a fully supervised drop off program, with check in 15 minutes before each service, located in Auditorium 2. This is an action packed program, with games, music, teaching and activities, whilst pointing them to Jesus.
Your First Visit
Here’s what to expect when visiting Together Kids for the first time. First, after being greeted at the door head on through to Kids Check in area, located just inside Auditorium 2, where we will meet your family and check them in to our system. For children in the Minis and Primary Programs, simply drop off your child with one of our Kids volunteers, then you can head into Auditorium 1 and enjoy the service!
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following information (Note: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone): Parent/guardian names, child/rens name and date of birth, your home address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs, etc).
How Check-in Works
Checking in is simple! Head to the Kids Check In Area located inside Auditorium 2, and one of our friendly Kids Team Members will be there to help you! Before checking in and dropping off your child to our programs, please make sure they have been to the toilet beforehand. We encourage every child to have their own bible and bring it with them. We discourage children bringing personal items and toys.
After the service, to ensure every child’s safety, a parent or guardian is required to come and collect their child within 10 minutes of the service ending. We will not let children leave without being picked up by an adult.
Safety is Important to Us
Together Church Wagga is part of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) movement. The ACC is committed to the highest standard of protection and safety for children and young people who attend a program, service or facility. To ensure the safety of everybody in the ACC, the Safer Churches program was launched. Here at Together Church Wagga, we align our safety protocols with the ACC and Safer Churches guidelines to make our church a safe place for you and your family.
Meet Our Kids Pastor
Families play such an important role at Together Church Wagga. With the help of our awesome volunteers, I love being able to provide a safe place for children to learn about Jesus, read the Bible, have fun and support them on their faith journey. We want to provide the same high-level of care as ‘big church’ and support your family in raising beautiful, happy, God-loving children.
If you have any questions or special needs, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
